Nomadic and Tribal Rugs
A special aspect about hand-crafted rugs is that, unlike factory-produced rugs, every one is unique. By their very nature there will never be another like the one you choose.
There are some general patterns: curvilinear, floral, and pictorial designs. Within each group there are sub-groups, and some rugs may incorpoarte more than one pattern. Buildings, paisley, trees, Turkoman, hunting scenes, panels - all have been incorporated into one-of-a-kind works of art.
