THE LURI are a nomadic tribe of shepherds who live in the Zagros Mountains of southwestern Iran. Their weavings are strongly influenced by the Kurdish style using bright colors for their floral and geometric patterns. As with all nomadic weavers, their rugs were not woven for commercial use, but for their day to day needs. This piece will add its warmth and charismatic charm to your decor.
