Lilihan is a town placed in southern Arak, in western Iran. The majority of the people living in this area are Persian-Armenians. Lilihan designs include curvilinear patterns and floral motifs. What gives these rugs a unique character is the pink weft that is used. The weft is often wool, and the foundation is cotton. Pink is the dominating color however brown and khaki colors are also popular in Lilihan rugs.
